Beauty products come in all shapes, sizes and price ranges - and Aldi shoppers think they have found a gem at £1.99. A BB Cream in the retailer's Lacura range is currently on sale, down from £2.99 to £1.99. Some fans have called it a "perfect colour match".
The "multi-care" face cream is being hailed by some shoppers as providing "excellent" coverage. Over on the brand's website, the retailer describes it as "offering up to 24 hours of moisturisation", adding that it is "a great way to get your skin looking concealed without it drying out".
One shopper reviewing the beauty buy called it a "great product", adding: "With fast service from Aldi and a super product, I'm delighted with my purchase. The coverage this cream gives is excellent but doesn't drag on application or look noticeable like some pure foundations can. Definitely recommend."

Another said: "Love this cream with a hint of foundation. It makes your skin feel so nice with a glow." While someone else declared it to be "great", saying that it was lightweight and a "perfect colour match".
The shopper described it as a "lovely tinted BB moisturiser, with the right balance of matt vs sheen finish. They added: "Such great value and I was amazed that I'd got the right colour from such a small range. I'd totally buy this again and again!"
Love for the Lacura BB Cream continued. Someone titling their review "brilliant product" wrote: "Was introduced to this by a friend, goes on easily and a perfect match for my skin tone. A really light product unlike some of the leading brands that are thick and heavy."
However, not everyone loved the item. A Nottingham shopper giving the product a one-star review was left "disappointed". They wrote: "Disappointed the colour on the colour on the internet and packaging didn't match the product at all. The colour looks like a really milky latte. I was expecting Coffee or Expresso. The liquid was not BB at all. For dark skinned girls be cautious it's not for our skin or shade. I will give it to my friend as a skin tan lotion".
Aldi replied: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused from the purchase of this product. Please be advised if you are ever unhappy with any of our products you have 60 days to return an item. We will ensure your comments are fed back to the relevant department for review."
Another shopper giving a a three-star review declared: "Not liking the new colours." They added: "I'm in my second tube in the colour medium and saw there was more stock, in store, recently. Although the range now offers 5 choices none of them match the 'medium' I currently have which is disappointing".
While Lacura is an Aldi brand, other beauty brands have a range of BB creams. At Boots, for instance, BB Creams start from £6.50 for those with an Advantage Card (£9.99 without) for 50ml Garnier Anti-Age BB Cream SPF 25. Superdrug is selling the Garnier BB creams for £9.95. They are £9.99 at Look Fantastic.
