Aldi has released a £5 candle that's being compared to a £150 Jo Malone candle.
The supermarket has released two new candles to its Hotel Collection range. Available in all stores, shoppers can purchase either a musky oud and bergamot candle layered with opulent poppy or a sweet and smoky velvety rose candle layered with vetiver and vanilla bourbon.
The candles, priced at £4.99, have been described as a dupe for Jo Malone's layered varieties which cost £150 (600g). Jo Malone's range includes a English pear and freesia and lime basil and mandarin fragrance and peony and blush suede and pomegranate noir.

Aldi's layered wax candles feature a two-wick design and are 450g. These dual fragrance designs can also be bought in diffuser form, with the Hotel Collection Dual Fragrance Reed Diffusers Set available for £8.99.
