Aldi is bringing swinging fun to SW19 with the first ever Aldi Swing Ball Championships being held during week one of the tennis in Wimbledon. Forget the all-white dress code and ‘Quiet please', it’ll be wear-what-you-want and ‘Plenty of cheering please!’ in SW19.
Coinciding with the start of the tennis event just down the road, Aldi’s event will take place in Cannizaro Park next to Wimbledon Common. Nine swing ball courts will be available to book online between Monday, July 3, and Friday, July 7.
Those looking to ace their serve ahead of the event can pick up a swingball set in-store for £19.99. It comes with two rackets, a water base, adjustable height pole, spiral top and a rubber tennis ball.
