One of the UK's most popular supermarkets is looking to bolster its ranks and bring in nearly 250 new employees by the end of this year.
Budget supermarket Aldi has announced that it is looking to hire 245 new colleagues in Merseyside by the end of the year. The jobs will all be permanent, including both full-time and part-time positions, with a variety of different roles available.
Positions are available at multiple Aldi stores across Merseyside, including in Bootle, Maghull and West Kirby. There are currently 100 jobs available in Merseyside, as listed on the Aldi recruitment site, with more to come, with salaries up to £48,490.

The almost 250 roles are part of a nationwide push to create 2,000 new permanent roles across the UK, as the company seeks to make Aldi "accessible to even more shoppers." The supermarket also recently announced a pay increase for store workers, and from September they will earn an "industry-leading" minimum hourly rate of £10.50.
Kelly Stokes, Aldi UK's recruitment director, said: "As we continue to grow and make Aldi accessible to even more shoppers, we need more amazing colleagues across the country to help make that possible.
"As well as healthcare and lifestyle perks, working at Aldi means a great working environment and real opportunities to progress within the business. We look forward to welcoming even more great people in Merseyside to become a part of our success."
