Aldi launches new £4.99 heatless curling set that's 70% cheaper than high-end brand Kitsch

Aldi has introduced a new product to its cult beauty brand, Lacura, which is sure to be of interest to those who like to curl their hair. The budget retailer has launched its own Heatless Curling Set that's 70 per cent cheaper than high-end brand Kitsch.

Available in stores from June 22, while stocks last, shoppers can get their hands on the new haircare product for just £4.99 - compared to Kitsch's set for £17. According to Aldi, the "innovative, on-trend product creates damage-free curls and waves."

It works by wrapping locks into place using a heatless satin curling rod, scrunchies and a claw clip. The curling rod's soft texture is said to help keep hair supple and blend curls naturally, while reducing frizz and split ends.

The lightweight design also means that it is ideal for overnight use. The new addition arrives following increased awareness of healthy hair – with the hashtag 'HairHealth' reaching more than 582M views on TikTok.

As well as the Heatless Curling Set, Lacura is welcoming Silk Hair Scrunchies and Satin Beauty Pillowcases. Priced at just £4.99 each, shoppers could save over £50 (77 per cent) compared to popular Slip and Kitsch alternatives.

Available in a selection of colourways, Lacura's friction-free Satin Beauty Pillowcase is designed to minimise breakage whilst promoting healthier hair. According to Aldi, beauty lovers can now wake up with an instant DIY, salon-worthy hairstyle without any damage or hassle.

Aldi fans can save £16.01 when buying from Aldi as Kitsch's Satin Pillowcase is 76 per cent more expensive at £21. Also joining shelves is Lacura’s 100 per cent natural mulberry Silk Hair Scrunchies.

A description of the scrunchies reads: "Gentle, durable and soft, leaving no marks on the hair, these popular hair accessories cause no damage and add a touch of glamour to everyday looks".

Compared to rival Slip's £29 French Candy Skinny Scrunchies, Lacura's offering saves shoppers £24.01 (83 per cent).
