Valentine's Day is almost here and Aldi has got just the thing to get us in the mood for the romantic occasion.
The discount supermarket has launched a red velvet-flavoured liqueur that's guaranteed to instil romantic feelings in love birds and singletons alike.
Perfect for Galentine's celebrations or nights in with your partner, Aldi's Ballycastle Red Velvet Cream Liqueur is priced at £7.25 for a 70cl bottle and can be found in stores and online from February 6.
The deliciously sweet tipple, which is made up of alcohol, double cream and red velvet flavours, is extremely similar to Baileys but will cost you much less.
Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake is priced at £21.99, while Aldi's new liqueur will set you back only £7.25 - meaning shoppers save nearly £15. How good is that?
Aldi currently has more than 930 stores in the UK. To find out your closest one, you can use the retailer's store finder tool. Opening and closing time information can be found listed there as well.
We couldn't find a red velvet flavoured cream liqueur being sold anywhere else online.
Aldi has suggested the best way to enjoy its new sweet tipple: the I Choco-love You cocktail.
It requires 70ml of the Ballycastle red velvet cream liqueur, 30ml of black spiced rum, 400ml water, 60g sugar and 60g of cocoa powder.
Firstly boil 200ml of water in a saucepan, remove from the heat and then add the cocoa powder and sugar.
Next, stir in the remaining water and (once the mixture has cooled) add the cream liqueur and rum and leave it to infuse.
Lastly, strain the liquid through a coffee filter to make it smooth and pour it into a glass. Simple.
If wine is more your thing, Aldi's Specially Selected Ventoux Rosé is just the ticket for Valentine's Day celebrations and will set you back only £6.99.
While gin lovers might prefer the Strawberry & Vanilla Gin Liqueur (£6.99) from the supermarket's Infusionist range.
In case you didn't hear, Aldi is selling a heated dressing gown to help us beat the cold.
At £34.99, Aldi’s ‘Kirkton House Heated Coat’ is a soft flannel full-body fleece with an integrated heated system to save you from the UK's brutal winter.
The discounter is also selling a £15 sausage roll maker - which has already proved a huge hit after internet sensation Lad Baby bagged himself one.
