Aldi confirms plans for a new Edinburgh supermarket in Drylaw

Aldi have announced that they are on the hunt for new store locations as part of a rapid expansion drive.

And two locations within Edinburgh and the Lothians are being considered with the priority areas where they're looking at including Bonnyrigg and Drylaw.

Currently Aldi employee around 38,000 members of staff across more than 960 of their UK stores. But now they are set to increase this number announcing they are looking for freehold town-centre or edge-of-town sites that are around 1.5 acres.
