Aldi £25 candle 'smells just like' £350 Jo Malone version

Aldi is set to release a £25 candle that smells just like a £350 Jo Malone fragrance.

The supermarket has launched a new hurricane candle ahead of Mother's Day. Priced at £24.99, the Hotel Collection Peony Blush Fragranced Candle is 93% cheaper than Jo Malone's Peony and Blush Suede candle.

According to Aldi, its candle "exudes a blend of sweet, rosy scents intertwined with sharp citrus notes." It weighs 2.5kg and has a burn time of up to 270 hours.

• A 2.5kg Aldi 'Hotel Collection Peony Blush Hurricane Candle' costs £24.99
• A 2.1kg Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede Luxury Scented Candle costs £350 from John Lewis

Aldi Peony Blush candle (ALDI)

The Hotel Collection Peony Blush Fragranced Candle will be available online from February 26 and in stores from March 2.

However, shoppers will need to be quick as the candle is a limited edition Specialbuy and will only be sold while stocks last.
