Albanese meets King, reveals coronation oath plan

Anthony Albanese King Charles III Australia Piers Morgan

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is expected to publicly swear allegiance to the King at Saturday’s coronation after extending an invitation for the monarch to visit Australia.

Mr Albanese had a private audience with the King at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday, local time, ahead of the coronation at the weekend.
