Police have charged former radio broadcaster Alan Jones with two additional charges after his arrest yesterday. The charges come following a nine-month investigation into alleged indecent assault and sexual touching spanning two decades.
The additional two charges of assault with act of indecency towards a ninth victim were made following further legal advice.
On Monday, the 83-year-old was arrested from his Sydney luxury apartment and charged with 24 offences against eight victims.
These included 11 counts of aggravated indecent assault — victim under authority of offender, nine counts of assault with act of indecency, two counts of sexually touch another person without consent and two counts of common assault.
Jones has been granted conditional bail and will appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday, December 18.
