Known for their chip shops in East Lothian and ice cream parlour in the city centre, staff are currently running a seafood truck next to George Square for the festival. Right in the heart of all the Fringe action, the team took to social media on Monday to share a snap they got with Alan Carr, who had been picking up some scran.
Arriving in the city at the weekend, the comedian is currently in the midst of a few Fringe events, but had stopped for a fish supper on Sunday evening.

Smiling alongside the Alandas staff, Alan appeared to have gone for salt and sauce on his chips, as he embraced the true Edinburgh lifestyle.
In a post, Alandas said: "When ALAN CARR drops by for his Alandas fish supper fix during the Fringe. Truly amazing man, even took time to take photos with the team and managed to give us a chuckle while his fish was in the fryer."
