Despite splitting from his partner of 13 years earlier this week, Alan Carr put a brave face on as he went to party it up at a gig in Essex.
The 45-year-old comedian was reportedly the "life and soul" of the party and was buying drinks for guests well into the early hours of the morning.
Alan reportedly "didn't shy away" from speaking about his break-up but insisted that there was no bad blood between them, going on to joke that he wanted to meet some "horny groupies".
According to The Sun, Alan - who announced that we was splitting up with husband Paul Drayton after three years of marriage on Friday - spent Saturday night partying with fans after his gig in Southend-on-Sea.
A source told the publication : "Alan was in great spirits and had other guests in hysterics.
"He didn’t shy away from his split with Paul either and was happy to speak about it. It was clear there was no bad blood and Alan made it clear he just wanted to get on with life.”
Alan also reportedly told the crowd at Cliffs Theatre: "You might have read I am going through a divorce. I know it is always sad when couples go apart but it is good news if you’re a horny groupie into chubby homosexuals. Travelodge room 242…"
It comes after a spokesperson for the couple announced that Alan and Paul had made the decision to separate "jointly and amicably".
They said: "After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.
"They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways.
"We request that their privacy is respected at this sensitive time."
It had been a tough 2021 for the couple - with Paul struggling in his battle against alcohol addiction.
Paul and Alan tied the knot back in 2018 after 10 years together as a couple - with the Chatty Man's pal Adele heavily involved in the nuptials.
The pair married in Los Angeles, with a spokesperson for Alan saying at the time: "Alan Carr married his long-term partner Paul Drayton at a small private ceremony in LA last week.
"The couple are currently on honeymoon in Mexico and are planning a big celebration with all their family and friends back in the UK later this summer. They are both extremely happy."
