An Alabama mother is facing a murder charge after authorities investigating the death of her 12-year-old daughter allegedly uncovered months of severe physical and medical neglect.
The girl, who had cerebral palsy, was reportedly found in extremely poor condition inside her family’s Gadsden home. What initially appeared to be the natural death of a child with a serious disability quickly turned into a criminal investigation.
