Akhilesh Yadav targets BJP as Varanasi road caves in; asserts ‘Thanks it didn't happen during G-20’

Lucknow: The video of a road collapsing in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, is going viral on social media. 

Reacting to the video, Samajwadi Party Supremo Akhilesh Yadav took a jibe at the BJP government on Tuesday. He said let's be thankful that this collapse did not happen during the G-20.

Akhilesh Yadav has shared the video of the sinking road on social media platform 'X' and writes, "The road of corruption sank in the lap of the earth in the 'Prime Parliamentary Constituency' in the country... Be thankful this did not happen during the G-20, otherwise, the BJP government would have had to explain to the foreign dignitaries that this is an amazing example of our 'corruption art'.

Akhilesh Yadav further writes in his post, “The BJP government often shouts that they are committed to bulldoze those who indulge in corruption, but what to do, none of the roads built by them is capable of carrying the weight of the bulldozers!” 

“However, BJP people claim that there is nothing wrong in our intentions, our work is good”, adds SP Chief.
