Ajax forward Antony speaks out amid Liverpool and Manchester United transfer rumours

Ajax forward Antony has opened up on his desire to play in the Premier League amid reported interest from Liverpool.

The Reds have been linked with Antony in recent days, as have Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.

According to 90min , Liverpool are considering a move for Antony this summer, with it also being claimed that Reds scouts have been impressed with the 21-year-old winger who is said to be valued at £29m.

It was also reported that Liverpool scouts have been tracking Antony since his days with Brazilian club Sao Paulo, who he left in 2020.

Liverpool sources are keeping their cards close to their chest in regards to reported interest in Antony.

Speaking in an interview with Dutch news outlet Telegraaf, Antony has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Liverpool.

“Ajax is the place where I feel happy,” said Antony.

“But of course, I do think about a move in the future sometimes.

"Premier League and La Liga are the leagues I find beautiful. When the time is right, I hope to play there."
