Airline launches new Christmas programme from Scottish airport

AN airline has unveiled winter flights from Glasgow to two top Christmas market destinations earlier than ever.

Customers in need of some Christmas cheer can now plan that festive getaway as Jet2 has put their anticipated Christmas Markets programme on sale.

The operator will run scheduled twice weekly services to Krakow and Prague from Glasgow Airport for winter 2024/25.

It comes as "overwhelming demand" for flights led to bosses deciding to launch the programme two months earlier than last year.

Customers booking a getaway can choose from a flight-only option or an ATOL-protected package holiday.

CEO Steve Heapy said: “As well as seeing strong demand from customers and independent travel agents booking a Christmas Market break for this winter, we know that people want to book ahead and get their holidays locked in for next winter too.

"We have given holidaymakers exactly what they want by putting two fantastic Christmas Market destinations on sale from Glasgow Airport for winter 24/25.

"This is the earliest we have ever put our Christmas Markets programme on sale, meaning customers and independent travel agents in the region can book in advance and have the best choice of dates and hotels to pick from in Prague and Krakow.

"We are anticipating a very successful winter 24/25 and look forward to taking holidaymakers to some of the best Christmas Market destinations in Europe, as well as showcasing our award-winning flights and city breaks to them.”
