An air ambulance landed in a park in Pontypridd after a man suffered a medical episode on a bus nearby. A Wales Air Ambulance helicopter landed near the cricket field in Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd after reports of the medical episode.
The helicopter landed just after 3pm on Saturday June 4. South Wales Police and the Ambulance service confirmed the patient was taken to hospital by road and the air ambulance was not used.
Photos from the landing show several members of the public in the park as the helicopter landed. Police said it is understood that the man's condition is not serious.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "I can confirm that the Wales Air Ambulance Charity attended a medical emergency in the Pontypridd area this afternoon (04/06/22).
"Our Dafen-based crew was mobile at 14:48 and arrived on scene at 15:08. Following triage and treatment from our on-board medics, the patient was taken to hospital in a road ambulance. Our involvement concluded at 15:40."
