Just last week the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology estimated that in the next ten years around 10 million workers will be in roles where AI will be part of their role or responsibilities in some form, with a further 3.9 million in roles directly in AI.
We also saw over £2 billion committed to the delivery of the AI Opportunities Action Plan, an encouraging step toward turning the UK’s AI vision into a reality.
