PUNE: An artificial intelligence-enabled voice warning and CCTV camera-linked surveillance system to alert and monitor drivers, respectively, would be installed in the new-age buses of MSRTC to ensure that they do their job correctly and seriously.
Shekhar Channe, the vice-chairman and the managing director of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), told TOI that all the new buses joining the MSRTC fleet would have the two facilities. He introduction of these systems in some of the existing vehicles was also under consideration.
