In a devastating turn of events, another Married At First Sight (MAFS) golden couple has called it quits, putting quite the damage on the experiment’s success rate. So, with that news, here’s who’s still together across MAFS‘ 13-season run.
Unfortunately, two years after finding each other again on the show, season 12’s Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels have confirmed their split with separate Instagram statements.
While we don’t know the details of their relationship’s demise, both parties have said they’re “incredibly grateful” for the memories they’ve created, alongside the support of MAFS fans.
Unfortunately, with the duo breaking up, the experiment’s reputation in whipping up drama rather than establishing lifelong connections has raged on. It even got to a point where expert John Aiken had to respond to accusations that the show purposely mismatches couples.
“When we sit down and match we’re very confident about our matches, and we’re hopeful that they all can get the fairy tale,” Aiken told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
With their breakup, that brings us to only nine couples across the board for MAFS seasons (including recouplings).
So, here’s the updated list of all the MAFS couples that are still together from seasons one to 13.
Which MAFS couples are still together?
Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli (season six)
Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli announced their engagement in 2021, a few years after running off into the sunset in the finale episode of season six in 2019.
They welcomed their first child — an adorable baby boy named Lucius — in January 2023, and added to the brood again this year with baby girl Sunday.
“Our girl is here,” the couple wrote on Instagram this week. “We are smitten.”
Martha and Michael are still engaged and have not spilled any deets about wedding plans, but with two little ones and regular appearances on each other’s socials, it’s a safe bet this couple is still together. Somewhere out there, John Aiken is smiling.
Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant (season six)
Proving to be a stellar year for IRL success, season six also made a poster couple out of Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant. They got married for real in November of 2019, and share two kids, Chase and Carter.
“I feel a lot of people were really invested in our relationship,” Jules told Stellar in 2020. “People still message me to this day and say we gave them hope that they will find their ‘one’. That’s so heartwarming.”
If history remembers only one MAFS love story, it’ll be Jules and Cam.
Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson (season eight)
The next MAFS curse-breakers arrived in season eight, when participants Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson left the show, got engaged and welcomed twins in one fell swoop.
In the time since, the pair have officially tied the knot, welcomed a dog to the fam, and relocated to the Gold Coast. “Having kids kind of matures you very quickly,” Bryce said on PEDESTRIAN.TV’s podcast Villain Edit.
“It’s probably the best thing that ever happened to me, and it changed me as a whole person.”
Sure, he had to overcome his own villain status during his season, but Bryce at least exited the experiment with a successful pairing that is still going strong.
Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente (season eight)
Another couple who walked away from a season eight dinner party with more than second-hand embarrassment is Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente who are very much still together as of 2026.
The pair revealed their real-life engagement in 2022 and officially got hitched the following year.
A baby, Chloe Rossi Balbuziente, arrived in 2024, adding to a cohort of MAFS offspring that probably has producers conceiving of some kind of ‘where are they now?’ spinoff when the time is right.
Interestingly, Kerry and Johnny are one of the few intruder couple success stories, proving that even experiment latecomers can make it all the way down the aisle.
Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James (season 10)
Season 10 castmates Evelyn Ellis and Duncan James are unique in that their happily ever after came despite being paired with other participants.
Evelyn joined as a intruder bride in 2023’s tenth season while Duncan was an OG groom, but they didn’t confirm their romance until after filming had wrapped.
As of 2026, the couple is still going strong, but they weren’t the only ones to find success outside the experts’ original plans.
Ellie Dix and Jonathan McCullough (season 11)
Ellie Dix and Jonathan McCullough shocked viewers when they arrived at the season 11 reunion as a couple, leaving their original matches behind.
Jono was originally teed up with Lauren Dunn while Ellie was paired with Ben Walters, and their fledging extra-marital romance became the season’s big cheating scandal (there’s always one).
But it appears it all paid off, since Ellie and Jono have since travelled the world together and even purchased a home in the Gold Coast in 2025.
“[We] haven’t spent a moment apart,” Ellie said on Instagram last year, and by the looks of their socials, that sentiment still rings true!
Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo (season 11)
The second intruder couple who roughed it out en route to true love were season 11’s Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo, who still seem to be together by all accounts.
Last year, Ridge even revealed he’d moved to the Gold Coast to continue his relationship with Jade, and the pair have frequently shared loved-ups snaps in the time since.
“It’s wild we’re still together,” Ridge wrote on Instagram last year. “Lime light and all has passed and now it’s just us and our little family still kicking.” Cute!
Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice (season 12)
Another re-coupling that ultimately worked out was season 12’s Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice, who are set to tie the knot IRL after originally being matched with other participants. “OMFG we’re getting married next month,” the pair revealed in March, 2026.
On April 20, 2026, the pair confirmed their marriage with a joint post, dubbing themselves “Mr & Mrs Rice”.
The nuptials will follow their official engagement last year and a relocation to Tasmania to pursue their romance even further. Sure, they were a whirlwind couple during their MAFS stint, but (engagement ring) diamonds are formed under pressure.
Who’s still together on Married At First Sight 2026?
Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov
All that led us to the current 2026 season of MAFS, which left us with only one true love story in Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov.
The lucky couple were the only 2026 MAFS participants who stayed together, and they made it official with a real-life engagement during the Final Vows.
Speaking of the imminent nuptials to PEDESTRIAN.TV, Filip said the wedding will “likely be overseas” and is “definitely not going to be as public” as their MAFS stint.
MAFS 2026 delivered no other happily ever afters besides Stella and Filip, but maybe their engagement and wedding will repair the curse just enough going into the 2027 season. Given the absolute chaos of MAFS 2026, even just one success feels like a win.
