NEW DELHI: At a time when youths from a few states, particularly Bihar, are indulging in violent protests over the Agnipath scheme, senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya has come under severe attack from several quarters for his remarks on the recruitment plan in the armed forces. The all-round criticism has forced him to issue a clarification.
A video clip of Vijayvargiya in the BJP office of his home town Indore has gone viral. He is heard saying: “If I have to engage security in this BJP office, I will give preference to Agniveers.”
