US megastar Nicki Minaj is the latest artist to be confirmed as a headliner for Portugal’s 2024 Afro Nation festival.
The queen of rap will join a host of other mega-stars already confirmed to hit the stage including Asake, J Hus, Rema and Tyla.
The world’s biggest Afrobeats festival will return to the coast of Portimão in the Algarve this summer from June 26 to 28, celebrating the best across the genre as well as in reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, amapiano, soca and other black-led musical genres.
The three-day festival has more than doubled in size over the first three events and has become a global phenomenon, helping to propel now-global stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido to headline status on major mainstream festival line-ups around the world.
Ninho, Omah Lay, Major League DJZ, Uncle Waffles and Focalistic as well as a host of other artists will be performing at this year's festival.
