AFL:Lions lose trio for QClash, Cats youngster in doubt

Brisbane defender Keidean Coleman has hit a speed bump in his AFL comeback and is one of three Lions players to join a lengthy injury list.

Coleman could be ruled out for up to six weeks after straining his hamstring just before quarter-time in the club's 25-point loss to Fremantle.

The 26-year-old has played all 12 games this season after missing Brisbane's back-to-back premierships.

Coleman had suffered a season-ending ACL tear in opening round in 2024, then played just one AFL game last year before a quad strain.

Tom Doedee, also looking to make a comeback after injury, is sidelined for at least six weeks with a calf injury.

Doedee - who has only played one AFL game for the Lions since moving from Adelaide at the end of 2023 - hurt himself in the club's VFL loss to Frankston.
