AFC South standings: Where Titans sit going into Week 6

Entering Week 5, the AFC South was the only division in the NFL in which every team was at least .500, with the Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars all sporting 2-2 records.

However, by the conclusion of Week 5, we finally got some separation between the four teams.

Two teams found a way to win and keep their share of the division lead, while the other two ultimately plummeted to a last-place tie.

The Colts ended up beating the Titans at their own game, with Indy being the more physical team in the trenches, and more specifically when it came to the run game.

The Colts totaled a whopping rushing 193 yards on a Titans defense that had been among the best in the league when it came to defending the run over the last two seasons and through the first four games of 2023.

Outside of those two, the Jaguars survived a late comeback by the Buffalo Bills to win their second straight game in London in as many weeks, and the Texans ended up dropping a close game to the Falcons by a score of 21-19.

Now that all of that has been covered, let’s find out how the AFC South standings look following the results of Sunday’s contests.
