The team’s chief technical officer was contracted to Red Bull until the end of the 2025 season, but it is understood that he would be free to join a rival team next year. After increasing discussion about where Newey could head after leaving Red Bull, it has now been announced that he will join Aston Martin next year as a managing technical partner and shareholder.
