The writer behind the Netflix drama Adolescence has called for children to be banned from social media in a bid to protect them from harmful online influences.
Jack Thorne, who co-created the series with actor Stephen Graham, centres the story on 13-year-old Jamie, a boy accused of murdering a girl at his school.
