Adele has delighted fans as she announced she is extending her Las Vegas residency, despite previously admitting she wanted to quit performing forever.
The Someone Like You singer was set to finish her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this weekend, but has now revealed she will be returning in June.
Adele took to the stage on Saturday to announce the news and teased she will be bringing her show to those who are unable to travel to see her.
In a video shared on Twitter, the 34-year-old said: "Playing to 4,000 people for 34 nights is not enough and I know that, I know it's not enough.
"So I am coming back."
Fans began to scream in delight as she added: "I'll be back for a few weeks in June and I'm gonna film it and I'm going to release it to make sure that anyone who wants to see the show can.
"And then I'll be back from the summer, back in August, until the end of fall."
She went on to praise her fans and thank them for creating "such a f***ing vibe" during her shows.
Fans went wild for the announcement on social media, with one person tweeting: "Sweet baby jesus yes."
"SHE’S GOING TO FILM IT AND RELEASE IT, BBY I LOVE YOU SM STOP," another fan wrote while a third added: "I can hardly wait."
Another fan commented: "I was in literal tears watching it come to an end and then she said this I can’t even explain the happiness that I’m feeling right now. Can’t wait for the #WeekendsWithAdele extension!"
Adele's announcement comes after she revealed she may never have performed again if her Las Vegas residency had gone ahead as originally planned.
The superstar found herself at the forefront of controversy at the beginning of last year when she was forced to postpone her shows less than 24 hours before the first performance was set to kick off.
After Adele faced intense criticism for cancelling her shows at such short notice, the run of concerts eventually kicked off over ten months later.
During her show on Friday, the singing sensation revealed that at one stage, she felt as though she may never return to performing after the traumatic ordeal.
Adele told her audience: "I am sure you heard it got off to a very rocky start. A year and a half ago I had the audacity to stand up for myself and know something was not right for me. And it was crazy.
"I let a lot of people down, but had I let myself down I probably would have never seen you again.
"This has been a real highlight of my life for four months. So I am really glad you are here."
