Adam Wharton vows to stay humble as he focuses on achieving World Cup dream

Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is refusing to get carried away as he looks to book his place in England’s World Cup squad, insisting there is a long way to fall if you think you are on top of the world.

The 22-year-old star is currently with Thomas Tuchel’s England squad at St George’s Park, participating in the initial phase of the coach’s novel split camp, which features 35 players.
