The human remains of a missing British actor have been found in southern California five months after he went missing. Remains found in the San Gabriel mountains have been confirmed to be those of Julian Sands, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department told the PA news agency.
The British actor, who was 65, had failed to return from a hike in the Mount Baldy area on January 13. The remains were found in the same area on Saturday (June 23) by civilian hikers. A coroner later confirmed them to be those of Sands.
The news was shared with PA by the Sheriff’s department on Tuesday (June 27).
