BENGALURU: Some right-wing activists have offered financial and logistical help to Hindus who are willing to venture into the retail meat business, a move that is likely to see the controversy over halal meat fester. The move is aimed at what right-wing activist call “monopoly” of Muslim vendors.
Munegowda, founder of Hindavi Mutton Stall, who was at the forefront of the call to ban halal meat during the Ugadi festival, on Friday said that he would aid Hindus if they want to open mutton stalls.
