ACT notches ninth road fatality for 2024

The ACT's road fatality count for 2024 has hit nine following an accident early on Sunday, November 10.

A 26-year-old man has died after a single-vehicle collision in Curtin.

At about 1.35am, police located a Toyota Hilux that had left the roadway at the Yarra Glen roundabout and collided with a tree.

Emergency services treated the man at the scene before he was transported to the Canberra Hospital. He was declared dead soon after.

ACT Road Policing's Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the accident. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
