Bandai Namco announced that the Lighthouse War is launching on the Nintendo Switch. That's right! Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition is coming to the platform on July 11. This version for the Switch faithfully recreates the explosive action and the thrilling experience offered by the original game. It's a new gameplay experience that Switch players are sure to love.

Anniversary Celebration
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was first released in January 2019. If you're keeping count, that means the game is now on its fifth year. In celebration of the 5th Anniversary, an official celebratory wallpaper has been released and can be used for the PC or phone. Download it here.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown puts players in the cockpit of what are clearly the most advanced war planes ever developed. It offers the fiercest air combat experience ever made possible through a combination of photorealistic visuals, intense dog-fighting action, an immersive storyline, and virtual reality. Of course, there are also the wide range of authentic and futuristic aircraft for players to fly.
The plot of the game serves as the return of the series to the traditional setting of Strangereal. Set in the middle of a war between the countries of Osea and Erusea, the story follows the exploits of the fighter pilot "Trigger," who's been assigned to a penal squadron after being accused of murder.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is currently for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X/S.
