Above-Average US Autumn Temps Weigh on Nat-Gas Prices

November Nymex natural gas (NGX26) on Tuesday closed down -0.095 (-3.11%).

Nat-gas prices tumbled to a 3-week nearest-futures low on Tuesday and settled sharply lower. Forecasts for above-average US autumn temperatures that could curb nat-gas heating demand are weighing on prices. The Commodity Weather Group said Tuesday that it expects warmer-than-normal temperatures for the eastern half of the US through November 3.
