Aboriginal light festival a plea to listen with heart

The ancient MacDonnell Ranges outside Alice Springs have been lit up with Aboriginal designs for the Parrtjima light festival.

The ten-day free event is a celebration of Aboriginal culture and especially central western desert art, featuring light installations, music, dance, film, talks and workshops.
