Anthony Stewart has called out racist abuse that he was subjected to following Aberdeen's loss to St Mirren on Saturday.
The Dons captain has taken to social media to blast the sickening behaviour.
Jim Goodwin's side lost 3-1 to the Buddies in Paisley on Christmas Eve.
The Pittodrie outfit actually took the lead in the match through Matty Kennedy. That would be the only real positive of the game for Goodwin against his former team, though.
The Dons went on to concede three penalties in the match, with Stewart sent off after giving away the first of those.
He put in a clumsy challenge, which was deemed to be a last-man foul and therefore the denial of a goal scoring opportunity.
Mark O'Hara then missed, before Kelle Roos scored an own goal. O'Hara would go on to score another spot kick though, but did miss his third too.
Greg Kiltie sealed all three points for Stephen Robinson's men in added time with a strike from range, with Roos way out of his goal as Aberdeen chased a dramatic equaliser.
Stewart apologised for his part in costing Aberdeen the game.
However, he has hit out at racist abuse he received online as a result of the game.
Sharing a screenshot, Stewart posted a comment from one Instagram user which called him a 'baboon'.
Stewart responded: "There are many highs and lows in this beautiful game and I take full responsibility for my mistake which cost us three points.
"However, I don't take racist abuse lightly."
Stewart will miss Aberdeen's next match against Kilmarnock tomorrow evening.
