An abandoned Edinburgh restaurant in South Queensferry has been put for sale.
Once upon a time Frankie and Benny's was the go-to for the kid's birthday but due to rising costs and customers cutting back on spending, the restaurant group is planning to cull nearly a third (30 percent) of their loss-making sites.
One former Frankie and Benny's site that's been left boarded up in Ferrymuir retail park has been put on the market in the hope that the new owner will redevelop the premises.

As advertised on Rightbiz, the leasehold is open to offers and the interior has been frozen in time as the Frankie and Benny's branding still remains in the restaurant. The big familiar sign, while the shape still nods to the former eatery, the bold neon sign has been taken down.
The American-style diner closed its doors in South Queensferry in March 2020 as the Covid pandemic hit and the doors remained closed.
Rightbiz adds: "It is a mature and well-established retail and leisure park with neighbouring operators including Tesco Superstore, Dakota Hotel, Burger King, Assisted living apartments as well as prominent grade A offices.
"The premises were fitted out by Frankie & Benny’s and is currently presented in their corporate style. It is envisaged any new operator will update internally and externally with a significant capex redevelopment to their own trading style and identity. The property also has its own dedicated car park."
