Two abandoned piglets that were left to starve have been rescued by an animal charity and taken to the Edinburgh centre in a bid to find them a new home.
The Scottish SPCA took care of the four-month-old pigs, Chris and Tom, on November 1, but they are now back to full health and ready to move on to their new 'forever home' ideally before Christmas.
The animals arrived at Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre after they were found underweight and in unsuitable conditions at their previous home report the Record.
