Back when Aaron Rodgers was complaining that Hard Knocks got “forced down our throats, we gotta deal with it” before the New York Jets reported for training camp, he did mention one thing he liked.
“The voice of God, who narrates it, Liev [Schreiber],” he said. “I hope get to meet him.”
Well, Rodgers got his wish, which is amazing when you consider that the actor hasn’t actually shown his face on a Hard Knocks ever (at least to my knowledge). Schreiber visited, and as a clip from Episode 1 showed, Rodgers fanboyed SO HARD, telling his teammates to go say hi (WARNING: NSFW language ahead):

I’d have to check the @NFLFilms archives, but I’m fairly sure this is the first time Liev Schreiber has ever broken character as the narrator of “Hard Knocks” for the HBO series. pic.twitter.com/r3KB36hGAI
