In–demand Aaron Ramsey is reportedly down to two potential suitors as he closes in on his next club after being binned by Juventus.
The 31-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Rangers and is now being chased by MLS side Charlotte and Ligue 1 big spenders Nice. Ramsey missed the crucial penalty in the Ibrox side's Europa League Final defeat to Frankfurt and struggled amid a series of injuries during his bitty stay in Glasgow.
But the Wales international has the World Cup on his mind as he gets set to star in Qatar after his country ended a 64-year wait to star at biggest football tournament on the planet. The Daily Mail state Charlotte are willing to make Ramsey their highest paid player if he chooses a move Stateside.
Nice are also pushing hard and are keen to secure the services of the midfielder while also working on a potential move for Leicester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel. The Foxes No.1 is understood to be a key target for Nice this summer.
Ramsey's decision is expected imminently as he aims to put his recent woe at Rangers and Juventus behind and find a consistent run of game time ahead of the World Cup.
