Aaron Ramsey in classy Rangers gesture as young fan handed debuting stars shirt after on-field dash

Debuting Aaron Ramsey gifted his Rangers top to a young fan after he sprinted on the pitch to meet his hero.

The new Ibrox recruit made his first start for the club in the Scottish Cup tie with Annan as he made it through 60 minutes.

He made an instant impact on the team as he set up Filip Helander's goal to help his new side move into the quarter-final stage.

But his work wasn't done for the day as he was greeted by a young fan who sprinted on to the Galabank pitch following the full-time whistle.

Supporter Harris Friel rushed on the park following the 3-0 win to meet the Juventus loanee.

He didn't leave empty handed as the Welshman gifted him his first match-worn Rangers shirt.

Harris' dad Brian later shared the video off the classy gesture on Twitter, saying: "When you let your son go the match with his uncle and he comes home with Ramsey's top.

"Aaron Ramsey legend."

Ramsey retweeted the clip of the youngster running on to the park adding: "After that sprint across the little man more than deserved it."
