A second recall of Starfish Seafood smoked fish covers cold-smoked Norwegian salmon sold in New York, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, according to a notice posted Oct. 16 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The company's announcement is dated Oct. 9.
Sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets found possible Listeria contamination. No illnesses have been reported.
