The federal election has been called for May 21 but if you can’t attend a polling place on election day you need to organise an alternative way to vote in advance — like postal voting or visiting an early voting centre.
First, if you have turned 18 since the last federal election (or are 17 but will turn 18 before May 21) or have changed address since 2019, then you have until Monday April 18 to enrol or update your details.
