A new retro games bar complete with beer pong, shuffleboard and table tennis arrives in Manchester

Pong & Puck, a new games bar has opened inside the Great Northern Warehouse. Soundtracked by hits from the 80s and 90s, the fun new venue welcomes guests to ‘play, drink and party’ with beer pong, prosecco board, shuffleboard and table tennis.

The new opening comes courtesy of the team behind Bar Hütte, whose much-loved, alpine-inspired karaoke huts have become a firm fixture of Manchester's Christmas Markets. Filled with neon signs, graffiti and murals, the Pong & Puck creators wanted to give guests an energetic and colourful way to connect with friends, so as well as gaming tables, each weekend live DJs can be found playing guilty pleasures and old classics.

The bar’s eclectic theme extends to its drinks list, which features a variety of retro-inspired cocktails like the ‘Holy Puck’, a heady blend of vodka; tequila; Midori; Cointreau; and Karma raspberry lemonade, and 'WHAM! WHAM!' featuring gin; Cointreau and Iron Brew. If cocktails aren't quite your thing, the bar also offers tipples such as the Simmer Down and Pucker Up sharer - a blend of rums infused with chilli, Bitter Truth Pimento, lime and passion fruit.
