Norwegian synthpop band A-ha will be taking over Cardiff Castle as the first of three big gigs this week. It is part of the DEPOT Live events, which also include Pete Tong and Ibiza Classics concert on Friday, July, 8, and DEPOT In The Castle on Saturday, July, 9. Cardiff Castle is set to be filled with music and dancing.
A-ha achieved their biggest success back in the '80s with their debut album Hunting High and Low which featured their hit singles Take On Me and The Sun Always Shines on TV. They are widely known as the most successful global pop music act to have emerged from Norway.

A-ha are coming to Cardiff on Tuesday, July, 5.
What time is A-ha on stage?
Doors to Cardiff Castle will open at 5pm and the event is expected to last until 11pm. Last entry to the Castle is at 8.30pm. The support act The Christians will take to the stage at 7pm and A-ha will begin performing at 9pm.
Who is the support act?
Liverpudlian band The Christians will be supporting A-ha. Their debut album The Christians entered the UK Album charts at number two and sold over one million copies. They will begin their set at 7pm.

Will there be road closures?
Cardiff Council has not announced any road closures for the concert. The castle will remain open to visitors before the concert begins.
Where can I park?
There are several council-owned car parks which cater for 24-hour parking. A few examples include Sophia Gardens Car Park, which charges 24 hours a day and costs up to £17.60 for the full day. Castle Mews Car Park which charges between 8am and 8pm Monday – Saturday and costs up to £6.10 for five hours, and North Road Car Park, which costs £8.80 for a full day (until midnight that evening) - its charging hours are Monday to Sunday between 8am and 6pm.
