A giant beach is returning to Heaton Park this summer - and the best bit is it's FREE.
Come to the Beach returns this weekend, bringing sand, deck chairs, buckets and spades and more to the popular park.
Billing itself as 'the largest sandpit in the north west', with 100 tonnes of play sand, it promises to be 'the biggest beach yet' and will stay open right through the summer until September 4.

There'll be character appearances and children's entertainment, as well as a seaside fun park with traditional rides and attractions, which can be paid for with tokens.
You can either buy these for individual rides or get 25 tokens for £25 for the family to share. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays you'll be able to buy an unlimited wristband, giving you access to all the rides for a three-hour session - either 12pm to 3pm, or 3pm to 6pm - for £11.99 per person.
The fun park will give families the chance to enjoy loads of rides for kids of all ages. There'll be dinosaur appearances and regular character appearances from the likes of Spider-Man and Encanto's Mirabel.
See the Carousel funfairs Facebook page here for more details or you can buy tickets via the Eventbrite page here.
