This is not how this basketball fan expected it to go down. In fact, what actually happened was nothing short of nightmare fuel.
During a contest in Los Angeles when the Lakers hosted the Rockets, a fan named Anthony had a chance to win a $55,000 jackpot through MGM Rewards if he could hit a half-court shot. Unfortunately, during his attempt, Anthony fell to the floor and was clearly in immediate pain.

The shot didn’t look too bad, for what it was worth, but the damage was already done to Anthony.
He was briefly afforded an opportunity to shoot a 3-point shot for a smaller reward, but the fan was clearly suffering and needed assistance to get off the court.
You truly hate to see this and it hurts even just to watch the clip. Get well soon, Anthony!
