The sofa is the heart of the living room, so you want it to feel as cozy as possible. A faux fur blanket is the perfect way to bring this plush opulence into your home.
Billy Joel's living room sofa, spotted in an archival image from 1984, is the perfect example. The picture shows the singer's Los Angeles home; most of the design is relatively hard and masculine, but it is softened the idea amount by a sheepskin cover. His space has brick walls, a leather sofa, and a Persian rug, creating a gorgeous combination of texture and warmth.
