Steam’s refund policies are usually regarded as some of the best in the industry, but they do have a very clear-cut set of rules to determine who qualifies. However, we get the odd exception here and there, such as this Battlefield 6 player receiving a refund despite having nearly 500 hours in the game.
And it’s because EA decided to remove an entire game mode from it, Rush, which the player seems to have been very fond of. “Steam just fully refunded me for Battlefield 6 after 470 hours played due to so many game modes being removed at once,” the player wrote in a Reddit post explaining their situation.
