Towards the end of last summer our trusty tower fan packed in, thankfully it was cool enough to sleep through the night without it, but this week's heat wave would have been unbearable without the cool breeze of an oscillating device.
Luckily about two weeks ago I was browsing through my local Aldi and spotted they’d had a delivery of tower fans. Despite the rain outside, I figured if I didn’t pick one up now, I’d regret it in a fortnight’s time when it’s baking hot and you can't get your hands on one for love nor money.
The Easy Home Tower Fan cost me £19.99, which I thought was pretty reasonable. I’ve seen a handful of fans cheaper, but the reviews weren’t brilliant on them. The Aldi fan, however, has earned itself 50 five star reviews, and after reading them, I was confident this fan would do the job of keeping me cool this summer.
