95yo man among two taken to hospital after van collides with mobility scooter

Two people, including a 95-year-old man, were taken to hospital after a van collided with a mobility scooter in Bruce.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dashcam footage of the collision, which occurred about 11.10am on Sunday, September 13, at the intersection of Ginninderra Drive and Haydon Drive.

Police said a white Toyota Alphard van collided with a blue mobility scooter.

The 95-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were both taken to hospital with minor injuries following the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.

The Toyota van was displaying ACT registration YRQ96X.

Anyone with information can provide their contact details to Crime Stoppers via the Crime Stoppers ACT website, quoting reference number 8497963.
